* Only 64,015 km of rail network achieved till now
* Have to move faster on new line addition

* Limited funds available constraint for line addition
* Rail infra needs still unfulfilled
* Need innovative financing for Rail projects
* Can't meet all demands with limited funds
* New business model needs to be developed
* Time for business partnership with railways has come
* Special task force to develop new business model
* Administrative, procedural delays discourage investor
* Need to build up new business model
* Special task force to ensure early clearance of plans
* Not to privatise Rail department
* Special task force to clear invest plans in 100 days
* Need to ensure simple, friendly policy norms
* To better infra by joining hands with pvt sector
* Need to develop new PPP business model
* Need high speed freight corridors
* Large quantum of invest needed for railways
* Separate structure for implementing plans
* Domestic investors have tremendous scope
